Alem Mediation and Peace Initiative Organization /AMPIO/ is a local NGO established in January 2000 by few peace loving and dedicated Ethiopian citizens who realized that peace and love should be considered as basic needs that should not have been omitted by famous life science.

Christian Horizons- Ethiopia

Established in 1992, Christian Horizons- Ethiopia works for sustainable community development by focusing on child welfare, education and poverty reduction programs in the Oromia Region. CH-Ethiopia is a branch of CH Global of Canada (www.chglobal.org). We are registered as a foreign Non-government organization by the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Ministry of Justice Charities and Societies Agency, bearing the Certificate Number 1054. Our main office is in Assela, Arsi.

African Youth Development Forum

African Youth Development Forum is a continental Forum for Young African Leaders and youth organizations from across Africa which will be organized in the African Youth Day and during the Year of the International Youth Nov. 1-3, 2010 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Enrichment Centre For the Disadvantaged/ECD/

ECD is an Enrichment Center for the Disadvantaged children and women. Its program is about helping orphan, destitute, vulnerable children and economically disadvantaged women.

Mathiwos Wondu -YeEthiopia Cancer Society (MWECS)

Mathiwos Wondu -YeEthiopia Cancer Society (MWECS) was established by the first General Assembly meeting of the founding members of the Society held on April 17, 2004 (Miazia 9th 1996E.C) and now it is seven years old.

OAFLA

To address the challenge of HIV/AIDS in Africa, 37 African First Ladies and representatives gathered in Geneva in 2002. This meeting was facilitated by UNAIDS and the International AIDS Trust (IAT). Based on this historic meeting, the Organization of African First Ladies against HIV/AIDS (OAFLA) was established.  The objective of OAFLA was to seek and reinforce policies and programs against HIV/AIDS through advocacy, resource mobilization and development of partnerships with all stakeholders at all levels. Within this framework, targeted campaigns on different thematic areas to address the impact of HIV/AIDS on women and children have been successfully conducted in many African countries.
